runner with reunion fabric

I came across a charm pack of this fabric... Reunion by Sweetwater ...

and I knew I had to make something from it for a very dear friend. 

I thought it was EXACTLY her style.

fancy sewing machine = fancy stitching!

I even added some coasters.... my first attempt at free motion quilting

No pattern.  I just used charm packs in their original 5 inch square
then I cut some down to 2x5 and 3x5
my friend loved the "flag" patterns, so i left those in the large 5" square so you can see the whole design

I LOVE how this turned out, and good news, my friend loves it too!
